October Update ♥

IDK what I’m doing, but I’m definitely doing it.

This is a silly little life update. ♥

I somehow fell into a job working at a local law firm and apparently I’m getting pretty good at it. I wasn’t looking for a job but it I guess it was just meant to be. It’s a lot of admin work with some fun legal stuff thrown in. Tax assessments are going to be the absolute end of me though. If you have any questions about filing an assessment appeal … I know a lot more than I wish I did. I’m also making a lot acquaintances who are either attorneys or work at the courthouse. It’s definitely nice to have connections and access to free legal advice. 😅 Turns out a lot of attorneys are absolute goobers.

We bought 1.5 acres of land! It needs some TLC but it’s in a great neighborhood that’s going up in value and I can’t wait to see what we can do with it. While we figure things out, I’m hoping to use it for photography mini sessions and growing a garden next spring. I’m so excited to see where this adventure takes us!

& Finally, I sold some of my crochet creations at a local market! I’m so grateful for all the support from everyone. I’m looking into selling items online as well as sharing free patterns here on my blog soon. I’ve been crocheting for 10 years but have just never felt like my items were good enough to sell. The reactions to my stuffed animals from all the kids at the market let me know that I was definitely wrong about that. ♥

Life is silly and I can’t wait to see what the last couple months of 2023 have in store.
